DragonflyVilla enjoys a prime spot beneath the majestic Rocca di Borromeo, a 12th century castle, in the picturesque village of Angera five minute walk from the shores of Lago Maggiore, lakefront bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets and a fifteen minute walk to the ferry terminal and popular swimming beaches.
The original Lombardy Villa has been extensively renovated and updated and has two apartments: Blu is 120msq with three bedrooms, bathroom and living rooms and Bianca is a double room with kitchenette and private bathroom. If you take both apartments you will have four bedrooms (sleeping 8) and two bathrooms all on the same floor. It is the perfect place to explore this beautiful, historic area, whether you are into culture, cuisine, art, sport or relaxation.

Prime Location
The Dragonfly Villa is 250m from the historical village centre with two banks, a pharmacy, Incoop supermarket, bars and restaurants
It is a pleasant 750m stroll to the beaches and ferry point
Garden
Guests are invited to make use of the outdoor furniture in the arbour beside the dragonfly pond as well as the 12 seater wooden dining table and lounge chairs under the pergola
Coffee Machine
Enjoy Italian coffee in both Blu and Bianca with the Nespresso coffee machines and complimentary coffee pods provided
Fitted kitchen
Blu has a fully fitted kitchen with airfryer, griller, toaster, microwave and dishwasher. There is a washing machine in the bathroom.
Bianca has a fridge, two plate cooker, microwave, toaster and kettle.

Blu has a 65" Smart TV
and Bianca has a 55" Smart TV
Vegetable garden
Guests are welcome to pick fresh vegetables and herbs in the vegetable and herb garden when available

Both Blu and Bianca have large balconies where you can sit and enjoy the views of the castle, the garden and local neighbourhood

Parking
There is street parking available Although most tourist sites can be reached on foot, or by train or ferry you do need to consult the timetables as the ferry zig zags up the lake so the trip may take a while so the train may be the quicker option. We can advise you on your choices.
